2Do infants count towards maximum occupancy?
Infants under 2-years do not count towards maximum occupancy. That said, cribs and pack-n-plays are not provided (because of liability concerns) and thus parents will need to supply their infants sleeping arrangement.
3Are your homes pet friendly?
Some of our homes are dog-friendly. They will be marked accordingly on the listing. The dog-fee is $25/day with promotional rates during the non-peak seasons.
4How is Del Mar different than Homeaway | VRBO | Airbnb?
Del Mar manages and is the primary contact for all of our homes. We provide the guest services, home maintenance, and all comprehensive services related to the home and your vacation. Homeaway | VRBO | Airbnb don’t provide any of those services and are simply marketing channels for vacation rentals.
5Can I bring more than the Maximum Allowed on the listing?
Maximum Occupancy does not only refer to the number a home can sleep, this is also the number of people allowed in the home at any given time. It is determined by the fire department based on the number of exits in the home and fire safety evacuation plan. Some areas or HOA’s have codes that are strictly enforced. Please abide by the maximum occupancy number for the home at all times.
6How old do I need to be to reserve a home?
Del Mar has a minimum age requirement of 25-years old for all occupants of the home unless those under that age are accomponaied by their parent or legal guardian. Groups of college students are never permitted. For some of our homes, the age-limit is higher. Please contact us to confirm if you have questions.
7Is smoking allowed in the homes?
Smoking is never allowed in or near Del Mar homes. We kindly ask those who need to smoke to do it 25-feet from the home. Any residual smoke smell in the home will result in a loss of security deposit.
8Do the homes come with linens and towels?
All of our homes come with hotel-quality linens and towels. We do not provide beach towels however, so please bring those!
9What items will be in the homes?
Coffee maker, pots, pans, cooking utensils, refrigerator, stove, dishes, dish detergent, trash bags, sponges, paper towel, toilet paper.
10What entertainment is available in the home?
Del Mar ensures each home has some form of entertainment. It may be cable, streaming services like Netflix on Apple TV or HBO. For sports fanatics, call us and we’ll recommend a local pub.
11How do I check-in
All of our homes have keyless access. You’ll receive the code for your stay via email or text prior to arrival. Check-in is at 4pm and check-out is at 9AM to give our teams sufficient opportunity to turnover the home prior to the next guests. Early check-in is permitted only by permission. Late check-out is only permitted by request and if no guests are arriving that day.
12Do I get unlimited supplies?
Del Mar Vactions supplies the home with the basics so you can enjoy your stay. Should you need more, we kindly ask our guests to either bring or buy additional supplies they require.
13When do I get my security deposit returned?
Security deposits are refunded within 45-days of departure via a credit to the payment card.
