Welcome Details

We provide a Starter-Kit but do not provide supplies for your entire visit.  If you think you will need more than what is provided, please make sure to bring some with you or go to a local grocer.

• 1-roll toilet paper per bathroom
• 1-roll paper towel in the kitchen
• Hand-soap
• Dish-soap
• Sponge
• Trash bags
• Cleaning supplies

We provide sheets, & towels and launder them after your visit. We provide 1 bath towel per guest based on the max occupancy of the home.

Below is a short list of items we recommend bringing with you:

• Shampoo conditioner / bath soap / toothpaste
• Beach towels
• Beach chairs
• Sports equipment (bikes, kayaks, etc)
• Food, spices, cooking oils
• Coffee filters
• Charcoal for the grill (if not a gas grill, we provide propane for gas grills)
• Laundry detergent - should this home have a washer and dryer you'll need to supply your own detergent

Towns are allowing (and in many cases requiring) that guests buy beach stickers online and have them mailed to their off cape residence.  In-person beach sticker pickup is not always possible this summer.

Please, to ensure the best vacation possible:

• No smoking
• Wash any dishes that you use
• Flush only toilet paper in the toilet (septic is fragile)
• Keep windows shut at all times when A/C is running
• Do not exceed the maximum occupancy of the home at any time
• Leave sandy/dirty items outside (beach towels, sandals, shoes)
• IF home is dog friendly, please do not allow them on furniture
• IF home has central A/C please do not put the temperature below 69° - keeping the temperature any lower runs the risk of freezing. If the system freezes, we will need to schedule a costly emergency repair visit which will result in the loss of your security deposit and up to 48 hours without A/C!

Your deposit will be returned within 10-14 days if the home is left in a clean and tidy condition and without unreported damages. Please note that a portion of your deposit may be withheld if the bulleted checklist below is not completed upon your departure.

Please depart no later than the check-out time you received in your Guest Agreement.

Report any damage prior to departing & you'll be covered for up to $500 in accidental damage. www.service.thisisdelmar.com.

Please be sure to collect all personal items. Items left behind that are found and returned to our office may be requested for return with a minimum shipping charge of $25. Note: prescription medication cannot be shipped and will be disposed of as necessary.

Before you leave, please remove the sheets and pillowcases from all used beds and leave them in a pile on the bedroom floor. Please leave all used towels on the bathroom floor.

After stripping the sheets, it would be helpful and appreciated if you could lay the pillows and comforters neatly on the beds.

Please do your dishes/ run the dishwasher before departing. Please take out your trash and leave them in the trash barrels. The location of the trash barrels can be found in your Welcome Package.
